Scope and Contents The collection consists primarily of printed materials, pamphlets, broadsides, postcards, flyers, newspapers and other ephemera, related to the study of Germany during World War I, of the post war political and economic conditions of the Weimar Republic, and of the rise of Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist Party. This collection contains notes, photographs, and lists concerning the displacement of the Melster Family by the Nazis and the later repatriation of their property, as well as materials related to Jane Brister's return of two vases to Linderhoff Castle and an unrelated postcard addressed to Brister.
