Scope and Contents This collection contains various souvenir books, programs, brochures, magazines, newspaper clippings and other ephemera related to the North Carolina Azalea Festival from 1948-2004. The Azalea Festival began in 1948 at the instigation of Dr. Houston Moore of Wilmington, NC.
