Records a sale by Alexander H. and Rebecca A. Tyson to Robert Gilmor, Jr., of a tract of land called Mount Pleasant. Both parties were of Baltimore County.

Assignment from Charles Carroll of Howard County, Maryland, to his son, John Lee Carroll, of Baltimore, Maryland. Dated December 5, 1857, this deed grants to John Lee Carroll two lots in Baltimore that were assigned to Charles Carroll by Winson N. Nicholas, in a deed dated July 16, 1856, subject to annual rent on each lot.

Corresponding to the land assignment is a map of land tracts in Baltimore and a limited history of exchange of these lots. The map shows three lots and three deeds, indicating all three lots were formerly from Wilson N. Nicholas and wife to Charles Carroll. All three lots were transferred to John Lee Carroll, two of them in the deed described above.
