Abstract
The currency in this collection was a gift from Virginia Rivenbark Tiden, Jean Tilden Sigvaldsen and Gary S. Sigvaldsen in February 2009. Description of currency is from: Grover C. Criswell, Jr., Confederate and Southern State Currency : A Descriptive Listing, Including Rarity and Prices. 2nd rev. ed ed. Citra, Fla.: Criswell's & Criswell's Publications, 1976. Krause, Chester L., Standard Catalog of United States Paper Money. Ed. Lemke, Robert F. Iola, WI: Krause Publications, 1981. Print. In January 2012 Gary Sigvaldson added certificates of diplomas of Jean Tilden, books and nine (9) boxes of Mineral Specimens, The books and minerals were transferred to the UNCW Geology Department.
