JBF, Falmouth, VA, to AEF, at Jordan’s Springs, Frederick City, VA. Letter, which is also the envelope, is stamped and hand cancelled. JBF writes that he had an order for 3,000 barrels of his Bridgewater Flour, which he had to purchase from other millers as his mill was not started yet. Sent $100.00 check for family’s vacationing expenses. Expresses concern over weather and unhealthy areas resulting. Mentions daughter Edmo and son Joe.
