Of note is correspondence on the following topics: correspondence with Edward H. Lewis, Jr. regarding Yow's campaign for state senate; a letter from O.O. Allsbrook to Navy League members regarding the dedication of the USS North Carolina battleship and a reception for dignitaries; correspondence with J. Max Thomas regarding the battleship dedication as well as commentary on the impending election; letters to U.S. Representative Alton Lennon regarding Captain Robert b.
