Biographical Note
Reverend Frederick Henry Townsend Horsfield joined St. James as temporary rector in 1901 following the resignation of Reverend Strange in 1900. He later joined St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Oxford, North Carolina, where he served as rector from 1907 to 1926.
