Chancellor James Leutze Papers, 1998-2009

This collection contains the papers of Dr. James Leutze, former Chancellor of UNC Wilmington from 1990-2003. Content is focused on his work in the community, such as with the Wilmington Race Relations Committee and 1898 Centennial Foundation, as well as requests for assistance and his cooperation with local groups and events, such as the Audubon Neighborhood Association, the Historic Wilmington Foundation, and Congressman Mike McIntyre's Alternative Energy Summit held at UNCW in July 2009. A 2003 tribute to Leutze on local public radio station WHQR is also included on CD. Material includes correspondence, meeting minutes and agendas, member profiles and contact information, memos, and fact sheets.
