Biography

Fanny Bowdoin deRosset was born in Sewanee, Tennessee on October 24, 1887. She was the daughter of Rev. Frederick Ancrum deRosset and Mary Williams Green deRosset. She was the great-granddaughter of Right Rev. William Mercer Green of Wilmington, N.C., the first Episcopal Bishop of the State of Mississippi. She was also a descendent of Dr. Armand John deRosset, MD.
